Common questions

A vCard QR code encodes your contact information — name, phone, email, company, and website — directly into the QR pattern.

When someone scans it, their phone offers to add you to their contacts immediately. No app needed, no typing.

The contact details are baked into the QR pattern itself, so a new phone number means generating a new QR code and reprinting your cards.

If you want a contact that you can update remotely, link to a personal website or a service like Linktree instead, using a Link QR code.

A 2 cm × 2 cm (0.8 inch) square is the practical minimum for a vCard code at business card scanning distance. Going smaller risks scan failures on older phones.

Place it in a corner with a small margin around it and avoid printing on a patterned background.

Yes — use a Link QR code pointing to your LinkedIn profile URL. This lets you keep your card details evergreen even if your job title or employer changes.

No. All QR code generation happens locally in your browser. Your name, phone number, and email are never sent to or stored on any server.
