How to create a QR code for a property listing
- Copy the listing URL from your MLS or agency website.
- Choose "Link" in QRKong and paste the URL.
- Download the PNG and insert it into your sign template, flyer, or brochure.
- Test the scan at realistic distance (a few metres for for-sale signs) before printing.
Common questions
The most effective destination is the full property listing on your MLS, agency website, or a dedicated landing page with photos, floor plan, and price.
For for-sale signs, a short URL (via Bitly or similar) keeps the QR code simple and lets you update the destination if the listing page changes.
Yes — it is one of the highest-impact uses. Buyers driving past can scan instantly and see photos and details without calling an agent.
Print at a minimum of 5 cm × 5 cm on the sign and ensure strong contrast so it scans from a few metres away in varying light.
Use a vCard QR code. Fill in your name, phone, email, and agency name. Buyers scan and save your details to their contacts in one tap.
Place this on business cards, flyers, and sign riders alongside the listing QR code.
If you used a redirector service (Bitly, Rebrandly), update the destination URL to a "sold" page or your homepage — all printed QR codes update instantly.
If the QR code links directly to the listing URL, you will need to reprint signs with a new code once the property is sold.
Absolutely. Download the PNG from QRKong and drop it into any design tool — Canva, InDesign, Word, or Google Slides.
A 3 cm × 3 cm code is comfortable for flyer scanning distance. Add a short call to action like "Scan for virtual tour" beneath it.
