SPOTIFY

For Spotify.

Spotify Codes look great inside the Spotify app and nowhere else. A real QR opens your track, album, or artist page from any phone camera — no app required to scan. Print it on a vinyl sleeve, a gig poster, a venue wall, a t-shirt.

Where Spotify QRs get scanned

Vinyl & CD Sleeves

The physical-to-digital bridge. Listeners who hold the record can hear the album straight away.

Gig & Festival Posters

Curious passers-by scan, the artist page opens, and your tour converts into Monthly Listeners.

Merch & Apparel

On a hoodie, a tote, the inside of a tour shirt. Every fan walking around is an active billboard.

Coffee Shop Playlists

"Music by us, scan to listen at home." Cafés print this on receipts and table tents constantly.

How to make a Spotify QR code

  1. In Spotify: open the track / album / artist / playlist → tap the three dots → Share → Copy Link.
  2. Paste the URL into QRKong. Pick "Link" as the type.
  3. Set colours — green-on-black is on-brand; anything high-contrast works. Drop your logo or album art into the centre.
  4. Download the PNG for digital (social posts, email signature, story stickers) and for print at standard sizes (sleeves, posters, merch).

Common questions

Spotify Codes (the wavy bar pattern Spotify shows in its app) only scan from inside the Spotify app. If someone points their camera at one and Spotify isn't open, nothing happens.

A standard QR generated here works with every phone's default camera, and deep-links into Spotify automatically once the app is installed. Print one of these on merch.

For a single track or album, open it in Spotify, tap Share → Copy Link, paste into QRKong. Same for playlists and podcasts.

For ongoing artist promotion, copy your Artist URL (Share → Copy Link on your artist page). The QR stays relevant as you release new music — the artist page always surfaces the newest release first.

On a phone with Spotify installed: the app opens directly with the track / album / playlist ready to play.

On a phone without Spotify: the browser opens spotify.com/track/... so the scanner can preview, sign up, or download the app first.

Yes. Download the PNG at high resolution — it holds up well at vinyl-sleeve and small-poster scale. For very large prints, keep the design high-contrast and test before a full run.

On dark merch, set the QR foreground to a light colour (white, your accent) and the background to your dark base. Keep the contrast ratio strong enough that camera apps can lock on.

Direct track URLs are locked once printed. For ongoing artist promotion, encode your artist page URL instead — it always surfaces your newest release first, so the code stays relevant without reprinting.
